The variety of motel / motor inn style accommodation provided is ideal for couples, families and small groups. The rooms range from studio units (sleeps 1 to 3), to three bedroom units (sleeps up to 7), all at fantastic prices. With all your accommodation needs taken care of, its time to relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday in New Zealand to the fullest.

Breakfast/Meals:

Breakfast add-on options are available, however we do not guarantee the breakfasts are on offer at every participating property. Please refer to the accommodation directory you will receive with your documentation for further details. Each property has individual policies on breakfast times and availability. It is recommended that clients with breakfast vouchers reconfirm with the property on arrival. Please note: Most motels do not have on-site restaurants.

 

Child Policy:

Children under 2 years of age using the existing bedding are free of charge. 
Extra person rates apply to children under 2 years of age requesting a cot or bed.

 

Credit Card:

Most properties will require a credit card imprint for security upon check in, regardless of whether you have prepaid.

 

Disabled Travellers:

Most properties offer disabled access rooms and facilities, however we advise that any requirements be stated at the time of booking. This allows us to match the right properties to you clients needs.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to Rugby World Cup (September and October 2011) any Golden Chain properties on request over this period may be subject to a surcharge which will be applied at the time the booking is confirmed. Until such time do not regard quotes or rates on request as being accurate. No open dated passes will be available during the World Cup.

Studio Units

Layout: Studio Units usually include an single 'all in one' room layout i.e lounge/dining/bedroom/kitchenette (if room includes cooking facilities, some may only offer tea/coffee making facilities) and an en suite style bathroom (most with shower only, however some may offer a shower over bath or separate shower and bath).

Room Size: Varies at each property.

Bedding Configuration: Sleeps 1 - 3 Occupants. Configurations vary at each property but may consist of:

  • 1 x Double or 1 x Queen
  • 1 x Double and 1 x Single
  • 1 x Double and 1 x Sofa Bed.

One Bedroom Units

Layout: One Bedroom Units usually provide a sofa bed in the lounge, along with a dining/kitchenette/full kitchen area, a main bedroom and bathroom (most with shower only, however some may offer a shower over bath or separate shower and bath).
