SkyJump is one of New Zealand's most thrilling tourist attractions and an Auckland experience not to be missed. You'll fall very fast (approximately 85kph) for around 11 seconds, and then come to a very smooth landing in the Sky City plaza below.   SkyJump can be described as base jumping while attached to a wire - just like a movie stuntman!

Location: SkyWalk Mission Control, Sky Tower, Corner of Federal and Victoria Streets, Auckland.

 

Operating Hours: 8.30am to 5.15pm. Closed Christmas Day.

 

Departures: Tours run on demand subject to availability.   No set times.

 

Food and Beverage: Cafe and Restaurants on site for light refreshments or full meals.

Dare To Jump Into Auckland

The ultimate leap from Auckland's Sky Tower, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere. SkyJump is New Zealand's highest jump at 192 metres - an entirely new way of falling with new dimensions of comfort and safety. Thrill seekers simply step off at level 53, then fall fast and smooth to land feet first. Unlike bungy there is no bouncing and no hanging upside down.

Suitable for Children: Minimum age is 10 years old with written parental consent required for children under 14 years.

Weight Restrictions: SkyJump is designed to carry a maximum weight of 120kg.

Tour Departures: Tours depart from 10.00am to 5.15pm.

Duration: Allow about 45 minutes from check in.

Includes: Re-admission to Sky Tower's main observation level.


Look and Leap Combo - SkyWalk and SkyJump

Challenge yourself to complete both thrilling SkyTower adventures - the SkyWalk and SkyJump. Walk the 1.2 metre-wide walkway around Auckland's famous Sky Tower then jump off the Sky Tower with a 192 metre jump. 

Suitable for Children: Minimum age to do the SkyJump is 10 years old with written parental consent required for children under 14 years.

Weight Restrictions: SkyJump is designed to carry a maximum weight of 120kg.

Tour Departures: Tours depart from 10.00am to 4.30pm. SkyJump is open until 5.15pm.

Duration: Allow about 2 hours from check in.

Includes: Re-admission to Sky Tower's main observation level.
