F.A.Q's

Will the trips vary from what is described below?  There may be times when we have to vary the trip from what is described due to river and cave water levels or for other considerations to help keep you safe.  If there are any major differences we will inform you before departing on the trip so you can decide if you still want to go or not.

How safe are your white water rafting trips?  It is not possible for anyone to completely guarantee your safety in white water rafting.  With us you are rafting with an independently safety audited company.  We've been rafting on the West Coast Rivers for 11 years so you can be confident we know our way around them.  By using the latest high tech rafting gear, having highly experienced guides and with radio communication available for our rafts to the base at all times for continuous helicopter backup you know that you are doing as safe a trip as humanly possible to do.

Available Activities:
Rainforest Zipline Thriller (NCZIP)

Take the ride of your life on the Ranforst Skyride.  Harness up and slide off the edge of our caving canyon with a free fall along a wire line through the lush rainforest Canopy of the West Coast.  Ride is approximately 310 metres long, you'll drop 25 metres and reach 65 kilometres per hour.

A relaxing half day adventure of fun, in a beautiful place that takes you into an unusual cave environment. You can add some more adrenaline with an optional cliff jump or an abseil down to the top of the river tubing section (this would be an additional cost). You'll also have a fun experience with local Maori Cave Legends. Our glow-worm cave rafting (we are actually on tubes and not rafts) adventure is flexible and can provide as much or as little challenge as you are comfortable with.
