3 Day 4WD Kakadu/Litchfield Safari

Spend three days in a 4WD visiting Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. Explore waterfalls, search for crocodiles, swim in safe natural water pools, admire ancient aboriginal rock art at Ubirr and hike to the top of a rocky lookout for fabulous views, while staying each night in private permanent campsites for year round comfort.

Day 1: Darwin to Mary River
A refreshing start to your day checking out the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park. Enjoy lunch before heading to the spectacular Mary River Wetlands, where birds aren't the only abundant wildlife; keep a watch for lurking crocodiles on our private river cruise! A secluded campsite in the Mary River Region is where we'll stay tonight.

Day 2: Mary River to Kakadu
Discover ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr and clamber to the top of a rocky lookout for fabulous views over the Nardab floodplain. Next, it's on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) where a hike is rewarded with a reviving swim in the plunge pools. Tonight we stay at our permanent camp within Kakadu National Park.

Day 3: Kakadu to Darwin
Get ready for some 4WD action today on our way to Jim Jim Falls! Once we get there, we'll hike to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin Falls. Feel the beauty of the stunning gorge and powerful falls, from the National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience. Stop in at the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre this afternoon to learn about local Indigenous culture. The impressive scenery will continue to amaze you as we journey back to Darwin in the afternoon.

Tour Inclusions: Twin share safari accommodation (including proper beds, linen, pillows, towels and fans), experienced tour guide and host, meals as indicated, wine with evening meals and accommodation transfers.

Important Note: Kakadu National Park fee of AU$25 and $12.50 Twin Falls boat transfer (seasonal) are payable on morning of departure.

Departures: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6.30am and concludes at 6.30pm on last day.

4 Day 4WD Red Centre "Safari in Style"

Explore the highlights of the Red Centre; Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and head along the less travelled Mereenie Loop road in the Western MacDonnell ranges. All with the promise of a glass of wine and a comfy bed at the end of the day. For those who like to travel in style.

Day 1: Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta & Uluru
Visit the Outback Camel Farm before continuing on to the Red Centre for the first glimpse of Uluru. Then explore The Olgas on a guided walk through the Valley of the Winds. Enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sinks behind Ayers Rock, followed by dinner under the starlit southern sky.

Day 2: Uluru to Kings Canyon
Experience sunrise over Uluru and take an unguided walk around its base. Gain a further insight into the land, its stories and its people at the Cultural Centre. Head to Kings Canyon, in time for a superb meal before settling down for the night.

Day 3: Canyon to Glen Helen
Explore the Amphitheatre, Lost City, ancient Garden of Eden and the sheer outcrops of the North and South walls at Kings Canyon. Then travel along the well-known Mereenie Loop Track past the ancient meteorite crater, Gosse Bluff, towards Glen Helen where we spend the night nestled in the western end of the majestic MacDonnell Ranges.

Day 4: Glen Helen to Alice Springs
Visit Ormiston Gorge, then head to Hermannsburg Mission, established in the 1870's, for morning tea. Wander around the old church, school house, museum and art gallery before taking off for some 4WD action! Travel along the ancient Finke River track to access Palm Valley and Cycad Gorge, exploring what was once a prehistoric inland sea, before the return journey to Alice Springs.

Tour Inclusions: Twin share safari accommodation (including proper beds, linen, pillows, towels and fans), experienced tour guide, entry to Hermannsburg Cultural Precinct, some meals, wine with evening meals and accommodation transfers.
