Jungle Adventures is located in Cape Tribulation, an extraordinary and environmentally significant area. Our community north of the Daintree River is Australia’s largest sustainable energy community, and Jungle Adventures runs entirely on solar and hydro power. We have no access to mains power, water or sewerage. Environmental sustainability is key to every aspect of our business.

Location: 24 Camelot Close, Cape Tribulation.

 

Distance from Town: 500m.

 

Operating Hours: Head office 9.00am to 5.00pm.

 

Departures: Closed Christmas and New Years Day. Operation is 7 days a week.

There's a new species in the world's oldest rainforest, the Jungle Surfer. Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours are unique rainforest tours where your feet don’t touch the ground. Fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at 5 tree platforms to take in spectacular bird’s eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef. Safe, fun, fully guided and with no experience necessary - an adventure activity for all ages.

 

Minimum Numbers: No minimum numbers.

Maximum Numbers: 13. Up to 25 with prior arrangement.

Suitable for Children: Yes. 3 to 13 years of age.

Departures: 7.45am, 8.45am, 9.45am, 10.45am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Duration: Allow 1.5 to 2 hours from pick up to drop off.

Weight Restrictions: The safety harness is suitable for persons up to 120kg.

As the sun sets over the trees, the animals stir and the forest comes to life. We don’t need to build you a time machine, we’ll just give you a torch, then come with us deep into our ancient forest and a fascinating, vibrant nocturnal world little changed in 120 million years. With Jungle Adventure Night Walks there are no sounds of the city, just inky blackness and the pulse of the rainforest as it chirps, trickles, rustles and breathes.

 

Minimum Numbers: No minimum numbers.

Maximum Numbers: 11.

Suitable for Children: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. Private night walks for families with young children can be arranged.

Departures: 7.30pm every day. Closed Christmas and New Years Day.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
