Help Notes:

  • Transport is selected to suit each itinerary and includes 29, 46 and 50 seater coaches, mini coaches and custom 4WD vehicles .
  • Plenty of drinking water is essential, especially in summer. On some Day Tours there are specific limits of water you are required to carry. Additional water is available on-board all our coaches so you can refill water bottles as needed.
  • Due to the dusty landscape it is recommended that you avoid wearing light coloured clothing.
  • Bring your camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat, insect repellant is recommended and a warm jacket in winter.
  • Many Day tours present the opportunity to swim in amazing waterholes during summer. If you would enjoy a dip a swimsuit and towel are essential.

1 Day Kakadu National Park Tour

Kakadu National Park is a timeless place – a landscape of exceptional beauty and diversity teeming with wildlife in the water, on the land and in the air. This tour includes a visit to Nourlangie Rock, to view ancient Aboriginal rock art, a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong and a visit to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn about the traditions of the people in Kakadu.

 

Child Discount: Available for children 1 to 15 years.

Departs: Daily at 6.45am from the Transit Centre, 69 Mitchell Street, Darwin.

Returns: 7.30pm approximately to Darwin.

Inclusions: Lunch, courtesy pick up service from selected hotels.

Exclusions: Kakadu National Park entry fee of AUD$25.00 (subject to change) per adult and children are free. It can be purchased as you board the coach for your tour.


1 Day Litchfield National Park Tour

The highlights of this tour are the beautiful Florence Falls with a monsoon vine forest walk, Buley Rockhole, termite mounds, Tolmer Falls with a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole at its base, and a visit to the Wangi Falls, with a chance to take a cool dip in its large crystal clear pool.

Half Day Town like Alice Tour

Tour the sights of ‘The Alice’ including the historic Telegraph Station and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Stop at the School of the Air where sometimes it is possible to listen to the children take lessons on air. Visit the Reptile Centre and conclude with a panoramic view of Alice Springs and the surrounding ranges from the top of Anzac Hill.

1 Day Palm Valley Safari 4WD

Travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges down the bed of the Finke River, one of the oldest watercourses in the world, into Palm Valley. Marvel at spectacular rock formations, white sands and an oasis of rock pools and palm trees. Visit an Aboriginal community, renowned for its art collection. On the return journey watch the changing colours of the Ranges in the afternoon sunlight.

Kata Tjuta Valley of The Winds Walk

Travel to the Olgas and learn about the geological history of the area before being escorted on a 2 to 3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. Marvel at the unique flora and admire the view of the central valley of the domes of Kata Tjuta while taking in a magnificent outback sunset.

Departs: Daily 2.00pm (Apr - Oct) and 3.00pm (Nov - Mar) from Ayers Rock Resort.

Returns: 40 minutes approximately after sunset to Ayers Rock Resort.

Inclusions: Complimentary glass of Australian sparkling wine.

Exclusions: The National Park entry fee is not included in the tour price. The entry fee is approximately AUD$25.00 per person, paid direct.
