Quicksilver was founded in 1979 with one vessel, a catamaran, which took guests to the Low Isles. Today, it has become a highly sophisticated multi award winning company with a fleet of the most advanced Australian made cruising vessels, and is committed to sustainable environmental practices and ongoing conservation for future generations to enjoy.

Location: Marina Mirage,

Port Douglas.

 

Office Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm.

 

Departures: Operation is 7 days a week subject to weather.

The Outer Reef cruise operates 365 days a year subject to weather conditions all others are closed Christmas Day.

Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef Cruise

For an experience of a lifetime, Quicksilver's wavepiercing catamarans will take you to the magnificent Agincourt Reef at the edge of Australia's Continental Shelf. Choose to dive, snorkel, or explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semi-sub, just one metre underwater.

 

Suitable for Disabled Clients: Suitable for wheelchair passengers with some mobility.

Child Discount: Available for children aged 4 to 14 years. Under 4 years free of charge.

Departures: 8.30am to 4.30pm from Cairns. 10.00am (boards at 9.30am) from Marina Mirage to 4.30pm

Inclusions: Morning and afternoon tea, Reef presentation by marine biologist, smorgasbord lunch, snorkelling equipment, qualified safety officers on hand, Environmental Management Charge.


Silversonic Reef Cruise

Cruising on the fastest vessel to the reef, you'll enjoy over 5 hours exploring the delights of this underwater world. With three locations available, each site offers a new experience, selected for its unique variety of marine life and corals. In between, enjoy water activities or relax on the expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea.

 

Suitable for Disabled Clients: No.

Child Discount: Available for children aged 4 to 14 years. Under 4 years free of charge.

Departures: 8.30am to 4.30pm from Cairns.

Inclusions: Return coach transfers from Cairns/Northern Beaches accommodation, morning and afternoon teas, smorgasbord lunch, snorkelling equipment, snorkel tour with a Reef Guide, prescription masks, qualified safety officers on hand, Environmental Management Charge.


Wavedancer Low Isles Cruise

Departures: 8.30am to 4.30pm from Cairns. From Marina Mirage 10.00am (boards 9.30am) - Returns 4.30pm.

Inclusions: Morning and afternoon tea, Reef presentation by marine biologist, smorgasbord lunch, snorkelling equipment, glass bottom boat coral viewing, marine biologist guided beach walk, guided snorkelling tour with a marine biologist, qualified safety officers on hand, Environmental Management Charge.
